You can access the Forum from any WKC webpage from the top menu at far right.  When you mouse over that link, a menu drops down with a list of options for the Forum.

Anyone can read the Forum postings.  However, to make a post to the Forum, you will need to have a registered account.

In the past, the Forum registration process was automatic and did not require any type of secure authentication.  As a result, the Forum started getting a lot of bogus users, registered by internet ‘bots’, and then spam started coming into forum.

That has changed and the spam has stopped!

Now, a real person verifies the validity of the account request.  Later this year, we hope to have the verification handled by a ‘challenge-response’ test using a ‘Captcha’ box  –  the distorted letters which you have likely already had to deal with at other sites.

Forum registration is NOT limited to WKC members, however – anyone with a desire to discuss kayaking-related topics can request an account and join in.  So let’s go!

NOTE: If you are a WKC member and paid membership dues through the Membership Management website, clubexpress.com, you will still need to register to use the Forum and to access WKC "Members Only" areas on this website as the data from clubexpress.com is not transferred.
