Blake Island taco run

This trip is to for getting acquainted with and show our support for our recent basic class grads.  The trip  plan will be adjusted depending on equipment available and skill level of the group.  There are many options, including driving onto the ferry and a launch from Southworth.

For Vashon ferry options without cars, kayak wheels are required.  Let me know if you have them or not, and we'll figure something out.

My favorite version of the trip is to launch from Lincoln Park, then spend some time on Blake for lunch, hiking, or a Blake Island circumnavigation.  For the return we will either paddle back or head over to the Vashon ferry dock for Mexican food and a ferry ride back, depending on interest of the group.

Another goal of the trip is to show how to use the radio to cross Puget Sound safely, i.e. without getting run over by a freighter.
