WKC General Meeting Fri, Mar. 27, 2009 7:00 pm, REI Flagship, Seattle Please join us as Darrell Gardner presents Stage III of his 2008 journey, – a 1,400 mile solo sea kayaking trip up the Inside Passage from Seattle to Southeast Alaska. Free admission. Nonmembers welcome. In the spring of 2004, Darrell began the journey of a lifetime: to travel under human power from the border of Mexico in southern California to the shore of the Arctic Ocean in Alaska. Six distinctly different modes of travel will be used to complete this six-stage journey including long distance hiking (thru hiking), canoeing, sea kayaking, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing and mountaineering.
