Wanna Whitewater Kayak??

Class Starts April 10th

Don't miss this opportunity for great instruction starting April 10th!  We welcome all paddlers 16 years of age and older; no prior boating experience is required.  Paddlers ages 16-17 are welcome with a parent participant and upon interview with the instructors. You will learn basic paddle and bracing strokes, rolling a kayak, river hydrology, and safety, all in a relaxed and friendly environment...

Schedule:

The class combines 8 sessions of classroom, pool, lake, and river instruction, held in the Seattle area and on nearby rivers.

Week 1:

4/10 (Tu)  7:15 - 9:30pm    Classroom

4/12 (Th)  7:30 - 10:00pm    Pool

4/14 (Sa)  10:00 - 2:00pm   Lake

Week 2:

4/17 (Tu)  7:15 - 9:30pm   Classroom

4/19 (Th) 7:30 - 10:00pm   Pool

4/21 (Sa) 10:00 - 4:00pm  River

Week 3:

4/28 (Sa) 10:00 - 4:00pm  River

Week 4:

5/5 (Sa) 10:00 - 4:00pm  River

Cost:

WKC members: $175 + ACA membership (if not already an ACA member)

Non-WKC members: $175 + WKC and ACA membership

Equipment: Students supply their own equipment.
