Hammersley Inlet To Hope Island

Hammersley Inlet to Hope Island is a fun ride in a beautiful inlet with a short crossing to Hope Island where you will have opportunity to view deer and raccoons as they eagerly await your arrival. We will have time for lunch and exploration on Hope Island before returning to launch site on the flood tide. There is a takeout launch ramp at Arcadia which is mid trip if you desire a shorter paddle outing. Total full  trip is 14 miles. 10:00 launch is important to enable group to ride maximum ebb tide. Allow time to help carry your boat to launch from car. If you have not paddled with WKC before, please e-mail the trip leader to tell him about your Sea Kayaking experience.
